Online Islamic Studies for Kids: Duas, Prayer, Pillars, and Seerah in English

Knowing how to recite the Quran is essential. Knowing what Islam asks of a Muslim, how to pray correctly, what the five pillars mean, and who the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was, that is what turns recitation into practice.

Most American Muslim children learn Islamic Studies at weekend schools, in group settings, from materials that vary enormously in quality and depth. Our Islamic Studies course fills those gaps in age-appropriate, engaging, English-language sessions.

Daily Duas

Dua for entering and leaving the house. Before eating and after. Morning and evening Azkar. Each taught with correct Arabic pronunciation, transliteration, and full English meaning.

Salah: Step by Step

Every position named (Qiyam, Ruku, Sujood, Jalsa), every Arabic phrase translated, the spiritual significance of each movement explained at a child’s level.

Seerah of the Prophet, Peace Be Upon Him

Told as a story, not a list of dates. A man born in Mecca in 570 CE, an orphan who became a shepherd, a merchant known for his honesty, who received the first revelation in the cave of Hira on the mountain of Jabal al-Noor. The major events taught in sequence with context and meaning.

Basic Islamic Belief and Manners

The six pillars of Iman. Honesty, respect for parents, care for neighbors, gratitude, patience, with examples from the Prophet’s life.

Growing Up Muslim in America

Why American Muslim Kids Need This Course

Muslim children in the United States face a daily reality that children in Muslim-majority countries do not. They are asked about their faith by classmates. They observe Ramadan in schools that do not accommodate it. A child who understands why they practice their faith, not just that they do, is significantly more confident and resilient.
